Getting paid should never feel like a mystery. Here's exactly how payouts work on DukaanBuddy — from how your balance is calculated to what each deduction on a payout actually means.
How your available balance is calculated
Your available balance is built from orders that have been delivered — once a delivery is confirmed, that order's value becomes eligible for payout, minus anything you've already been paid or that's currently in progress. You can see this balance any time under Seller Dashboard → Payouts.
Requesting a payout
When you have a balance available, request a payout directly from the Payouts screen. There's no need to wait for a fixed date — you're in control of when you request it, as long as there's a balance to draw from.
Understanding the fee and tax breakdown
Every payout shows four numbers: the gross amount (your total order value), the platform fee (your plan's commission — 7%, 5%, or 3% depending on whether you're on Starter, Growth, or Enterprise), any tax deducted, and the net amount that actually lands in your bank account. Nothing is bundled together — you can see exactly what was taken out and why.
Where the money goes
Payouts are sent to the bank account you've added and verified under Store Settings → Billing. Make sure these details are accurate and up to date, since payouts can only go to a verified account.
Tracking payout status
Each payout moves through a clear status: pending, processing, and completed (or, occasionally, on hold if there's something that needs review). You can follow every payout you've ever requested from the same Payouts screen, along with the order count behind it.
Lowering your commission rate
Commission rate depends on your plan — it drops as you move from Starter (7%) to Growth (5%) to Enterprise (3%). If your order volume has grown, it's worth checking whether upgrading your plan would save you more in commission than the plan costs.
Frequently asked questions
How often can I request a payout? As often as you have an available balance — there's no fixed schedule you have to wait for.
Why is part of my order value on hold? Orders that are still within their return window, or under a Buyer Protection review, may not yet count toward your available balance.
Can I change my payout bank account? Yes, from Store Settings → Billing — just note that it may need to be re-verified before your next payout goes through. Manage all of this from your Seller Dashboard.
